Floral Express is currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse Associate
The position:
The Warehouse Associate’s role is to meet and surpass customer expectations by delivering top-quality flowers punctually. If you like being active and on the move, this position suits you. Our team values speed and efficiency, following a “work smarter, not harder” approach. Working hours are generally during the day, but you may need to work some evenings and Saturdays as required. Due to our fresh-cut flower business, completion of tasks can extend beyond normal hours. This isn’t a typical 9-5 job; commitment to finishing daily tasks is essential.
What you will do:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of our operations department, including, but not limited to:
- picking orders
- packing orders
- assisting with quality control
- shipping & receiving
- performing general warehouse duties such as sweeping, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
Experience Required

Required Qualifications and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 + years of experience in a similar industry or setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a passion to get things done.
- Adaptable, personable team player, representing the core values of The Floral Express
- Good judgment skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to be given tasks and execute them without supervision
- Strong foresight and ability to handle unexpected situations
- A passion for plants, how they grow, and their storage
- Strong knowledge of flowers, plants and the floral industry
- An eye for determining the quality/condition of flowers
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to handle stress, as this role can at times, be highly stressful
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in various climates, including a warehouse environment which consists of cooler temperatures ranging from 2-16 degrees
