Job Description

Andrew Heikoop Construction (AHC Paving) is a family owned and operated paving contractor. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, and attention to detail to join our team in the 2025 season (April-Nov).

Duties would include:

Assist the paving crew foreman with various tasks as required
Perform physical work such as shoveling, raking, tamping and sweeping
Perform basic maintenance such as inspecting and cleaning hand and power tools
Operate vibratory plate compactors to compact soil, gravel and asphalt
Assist as required with maintaining a safe and tidy jobsite
Previous construction experience considered an asset

Full-time hours Monday-Friday, 10 hour shifts

Experience Required

Candidate must be able to do the following:

Work independently and follow instructions.
Work outside in various weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun, and rain.
Valid G license with clean driving abstract is required.

Wage Details

$24 per hour
