In addition, we offer a mentorship program for our new Emergency Medicine physicians in order to assist them in developing confidence and providing support in the transition into practice.

TDMH is a progressive fully accredited 45-bed full-service community hospital that provides both inpatient and outpatient care to a population of approximately 45,000 in Tillsonburg and surrounding area.  TDMH is a full service active treatment hospital with 30 acute care beds, 5 Intensive Coronary Care Unit beds, and 10 Complex Continuing Care beds.   Emergency Room Service with specialty back up in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia and Radiology, and access to tertiary care just 30 minutes away in London available 24/7.   Our Surgical Program remains strong with two full-time General Surgeons who provide minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy services in addition to a generalist Orthopaedic surgeon.  Four full-time Internal Medicine consultants on staff assist with weekend on-call coverage in addition to a full hospitalist program.

Remuneration in our Emergency Department is through the Alternate Funding Arrangement.  We would be happy to discuss any details and review the financial, lifestyle and financial incentives that come along with practicing in this fantastic community.  Full-time and part-time positions are available.
