Job Description
The Township of Norwich is currently looking for a physician (full- or part-time) to join the busy Norwich Medical Centre. The clinic currently has an opening for a Family Physician or Specialist to join us at our turn-key facility with fully implemented EMR (PS Suite). Three family physicians and one naturopathic doctor currently practice out of the clinic, with full reception, administrative, and managerial support. Additional on-site services include laboratory, dental, and optometry; with hearing assessments available by appointment.
Overhead is extremely competitive, with splits dependent upon specific practice arrangements and medical staffing level as requested by physician. There is currently a vacant FHO position available, and Norwich has been designated as an Area of High Physician Need, so physicians are eligible to join our FHO through the Managed Entry Process and may apply to the Income Stabilization program if interested. Our office maintains a waiting list so there are prospective patients available. MOHLTC after-hours requirements currently shared equally amongst the seven physicians within the FHO.
Hospital privileges, if desired, can be arranged at any of Oxford County's three hospitals, all located within 25 minutes of the office.
