Job Description
Come meet us! Blythe Brae will be at the Oxford County Career Expo on March 27th at the Woodstock Fair Grounds.
We are a diversified family grain farm and have a dedicated long-term staff. We are seeking a skilled farm worker to join our team. We offer competitive hourly wages and a health spending account. In farming, our days work around the weather--generally additional hours at planting and harvest times but we can offer flexibility for reduced hours for the off-season. Job tasks:
- Maintain farm and grain elevator equipment
- Operate field equipment and trucks for various agricultural tasks
- Assist with general maintenance
- Follow safety guidelines and participate in keeping a safe work environment
From $65,000 per year
Health spending account after 3 months employment
Education
Experience Required
- A/Z driving license (or willingness to obtain)
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Farm equipment driving experience
- Welding experience would be an asset
- Effective team member
- Able to lift 25 kg and work in varying outdoor conditions
- Must be currently eligible to work in Canada
