Job Description
SAF-HOLLAND Canada Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of premium product systems and components for the global commercial vehicle industry. The product range includes axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, couplers, kingpins, landing gear legs, air brake adjusters, valves, ABS, actuators and trailer CPU’s.
The following career opportunity is currently available: Human Resources Generalist
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for hourly and student recruiting, attendance and vacation tracking in accordance with the CBA as well as weekly and biweekly payroll support. This position will be responsible for employee engagement initiatives including the Employee Recognition Program and will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Education
Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma / degree in Human Resources or related field with 3 -5 years of experience in an HR role within a unionized manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to organize, prioritize and manage required daily activities in a professional and confidential manner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and previous experience using SAP would be an asset.
