Job Description
YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the candidate will be required to perform tasks related to the operation of the casting head and its adjustment according to the finished product. He will participate in the maintenance of the casting head and its mechanical components. The candidate will actively collaborate with the R&D laboratory in the testing of new formulations.
Shift: Daily - Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
Education
Experience Required
Academic :
High school diploma
Knowledge :
Hazardous materials handling courses (an asset);
HAZMAT Spill Course (an asset);
CAPM software: AS 400 (an asset);
Consultation and understanding of MSDSs;
Driving a forklift (an asset);
Health and Safety Standards;
Experience in a manufacturing plant (an asset).
Skills and attitudes :
Autonomy;
Analytical sense, attention to detail;
Flexibility and adaptability;
Organisation;
Ability with computer systems;
Leadership skills;
Team spirit.
Working conditions :
Handling of hazardous products;
Mandatory wearing of cartridge masks, gloves and “blankets” depending on the work area;
Safety glasses, earplugs and safety boots are required at all times.
Physical requirements :
Good physical fitness (work is done standing up most of the time).
