Job Description

Employer is looking for a Fabric Associate who is conscientious, to maintain the Fabric Department. Must be accurate and efficient in accordance with established policies and procedures. A large portion of the position is customer assistance, as well as cutting fabric quickly and accurately to customer's specifications. Must be able to maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, as well as current sales and promotions. There are also aspects of receiving, pricing, merchandising and cleaning to this position. Strong communication and time management skills are key, as well as attention to detail and strong math skills. Must be flexible and able to work all shifts. This position required moderately heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Basic sewing knowledge is a requirement and more extensive experience is definitely and asset. Prior retail experience not required, but is also an asset.
