WELDER FITTERS WANTED!!

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is an engineering-focused solution provider of machined castings, fabrications, and assemblies. We serve OEM customers across various industries, including rail, material handling, mining, defense, heavy truck, agriculture, power systems, construction, nuclear, engineered products, architecture, and forestry. Group Division:

At Arrow Engineered Products, we design and manufacture turnkey solutions for a wide range of customers with needs in nuclear, chemical mixing, heat exchanger, and autoclave systems, including fuel storage and various custom-designed pressure and non-pressure systems, all in compliance with ASME, PED, ULC, and API certified design criteria.

We are looking for Skilled Welder Fitters who can weld fabrications and parts as per supplied drawings.

Our design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities can produce a virtually endless array of products of nearly any size. Ninety percent of Arrow EP Products are manufactured in-house.

 These include:

  • Pressure/process vessels and reactors
  • Mixers – Agitators – Dispersers
  • Heat exchangers
  • Autoclaves & Quick-opening doors
  • Custom Designed Fabrications

Job Description:

  • Able to weld with Mig, Tig, and Stick to required specifications (Carbon and Stainless Steel)
  • Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications and fit as required, keeping in mind consumables and tolerances
  • Collaborate with co-workers to develop fixture concepts
  • Perform welding, grinding duties as required
  • Work independently, or as part of a team member
  • Work from complex drawings
  • Ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications
  • Work safely by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Company Policies, and Procedures
  • Perform other duties as defined and assigned by the department supervisor or the lead hand
  • Comply and perform all duties with the organizational set of standards, including Quality Assurance
  • Initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail
  • Document and complete ITP reports
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area
  • Upon completion of assigned work, ensure adequate clean-up and inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts as required
  • Knowledge of the welding process and set-up
  • Blueprint reading
  • WHMIS and MSDS knowledge of all substances

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

Your Skill Set:

  • You have at least 5 years of welder/fitter experience
  • Proficient blueprint reading skills
  • Highly proficient Fitting skills, including prepping and materials to meet Blueprint specifications
  • Highly proficient welding skills in Mig - Hard Wire, Flux Core
  • Stick – an asset | Tig – an asset | Sub Arc – an asset
  • Red Seal Certification is an asset

Wage Details

$34 - $36 per hour
