Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing windows and doors, ensuring that they are fitted correctly and meet the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Duties
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Perform drywall repair work, including cutting and fitting drywall around installed windows and doors.
- Apply caulking to seal gaps around windows and doors for energy efficiency.
- Install aluminum capping to create a seamless and professional finish on the exterior of windows and doors.
- Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring all debris is removed after installations.
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Education
Experience Required
Requirements
- Proven experience in window and door installation or related construction fields.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques is preferred.
- Experience with caulking, aluminum capping is a must.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
- Drivers license is required along with a clean drivers abstract.
