We are moving to 100 Newman St, Ingersoll, ON N5C 3J8, Canada
The target start date in Ingersoll is October 1, 2025, with 4-6 weeks of training in Brantford.
Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am to 5:30 pm)
Pay is weekly every Friday.
You will be responsible for operating rivet machines, packaging equipment, deliner machines, and other positions within the facility.
- Operates equipment in the most efficient manner possible with the constant intention of finding new improvements to increase production and quality levels.
- Troubleshoots equipment when any errors occur to find the cause of the problem and to seek ways to prevent the error from recurring.
- Proactively monitors production to ensure that quality levels remain at the highest possible levels.
- Perform all setup and changeover processes in the most efficient manner possible.
- Continuously seeks new methods of production to increase efficiency, safety, and quality while reducing costs.
- Maintains operations that guarantee safety is always preserved.
- Aggressively seeks all opportunities available to develop new skills and increase personal development to achieve the highest performance possible.
- Performs all quality inspections of parts during production and immediately seeks to correct any issues found.
- Performs routine daily maintenance activities on equipment.
- Proactively seeks to keep the equipment and work area as orderly and clean as possible to aid future production.
- Ensures that the work area is spotless and ready for the next operator at the end of the shift.
- Additional duties assigned by the Supervisor and/or the Team Lead.
Education
Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- 1 year of prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- A minimum of two years of mechanical press, robot welder, drum welder, rivet machine, and/or transit equipment operator experience is preferred.
