PRODUCTION/PACKAGING LINE ( $18.00/h)( +output bonus weekly)
The Packaging Technician ensures the efficient completion of packaging activities in order to meet scheduled production deadlines. In addition, they assure product quality meets the standards of our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies for Natural Health Products.
- Perform work at various positions on the packaging line including capping, packing, stickering shippers and palletizing product in accordance with established standards and GMP requirements to meet production targets.
- Inspect packaged products for lot number, expiry date and general packaging appearance and completeness.
- Ensure line cleanliness practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and packaging instructions are followed.
- Room set up and tear down duties.
- Sanitation of rooms when applicable
- Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work at line speed and with minimal supervision.
Education
Experience Required
- Work requires moderate physical exertion.
- Regularly lifts medium weight objects by hand.
- May require recurring bending, crouching, stretching, or reaching.
- May frequently operate equipment and must walk, or
- Safety precautions may be required.
- Attention to detail.
- Team work.
