Job Description
Tillsonburg Custom Foods, Ingersoll has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate/Order Picker. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries, loading trucks, reviewing inventory changes to ensure proper adjustments have been made, and other tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a walk behind electric pallet truck
- Order picking
- Operating a forklift
- Moving pallets throughout the warehouses
- Re-working material as required
- Aid in maintaining organization of product in the warehouses
- Assist with the loading & offloading of materials
- Review and retain knowledge of inventories
- Work to maintain a safe & clean work environment
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work as a team effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a cold environment (-18 degrees)
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements
- Ability to multi-task and remain standing or moving for long periods of time
- Prior experience in shipping/receiving would be an asset
- Participate as an active member of the shipping/receiving team
- Manual and physical labor of moving products
- Prior experience with powered lift truck equipment would be an asset
Ability to commute/relocate:
Ingersoll, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
