Job Description
W-S Feed & Supplies Ltd. is an independently owned and operated company. As an industry leading manufacturer of livestock feed, the company is strongly committed to its values of quality and service. We offer our customers a wide variety of feeds in the Dairy, Beef, Swine and Poultry species. Manufacturing divisions with the company include Mount Forst and the head office located in Tavistock. We are currently hiring for a dispatcher and a truck driver at our Tavistock location.
As the Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our finished feed products to customer farm locations and picking up commodities from suppliers in Ontario.
Responsibilities Include:
> Deliver bulk feed product to customers and pick up ingredients.
> Safely load and unload trucks with feed product.
> Provide exceptional customer service .
> Communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery of products.
> Abide by and observe all safety procedures and Company policies.
> Assist in identifying maintenance concerns and service requirements of vehicles in the fleet.
Required Qualifications
> Possession of an Ontario Class DZ or AZ license in good standing with a clean driving abstract.
> Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
> Ability to work weekends.
> Mechanical aptitude.
> Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25kgs.
> Ability to climb trucks using proper safety equipment.
Education
Experience Required
DZ or AZ license in good standing, and minimum of 2 years driving experience
