Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.  This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast paced environment.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to determine necessary repairs
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive tasks, including assembly and disassembly of vehicle components
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate parts
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair status
  • Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required during repairs or maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with automotive repair techniques, including welding and assembling processes
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various automotive tasks
  • A commitment to safety protocols within the workshop environment.
