Job Description

Toyota Tsusho Canada, Inc. (TTCI) located in Woodstock, ON is expanding and looking to fill the position of Operations Supervisor to join our team.

This position would be responsible for the following (non-inclusive) duties:

  • Assist management with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse operations department
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Address complaints and provide supportive solutions
  • Assist management to ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift
  • Inventory Counts
  • Ensure Shipments are accurate and sent out in a timely manner
  • Ensure Receiving is accurate and performed in a timely manner
  • Perform cross-trained functions within work group as needed
  • Health and Safety Compliance
  • Prepare Daily Shift schedule of work, ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Manage vacation time approvals
  • Complete Daily Shift Reports
  • Train team members; planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Participate in Kaizen ideas and programs
  • Daily reconciliation of all paperwork and filing
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol
  • Point of contact for customer(s)
  • Complete Accident/Incident reports
  • Assist management with appraising performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience Required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to travel to Woodstock ON
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role required
  • Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, handle stress, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of working overtime, rotating shifts, and occasional weekends (if needed)
  • Must be safety oriented
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Forklift certification considered an asset
