Position Summary

Machine Operators are essential to daily production operations at IMT Precision. This role is responsible for loading raw parts into machines, monitoring part quality, and ensuring completed components meet required specifications. While no prior experience is required, successful candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work rotating shifts. All training is provided on the job to ensure success and growth in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience Required

About You

At our company, we are looking for exceptional individuals who can meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and stand for extended periods
  • Follow standard work instructions and quality procedures
  • Adapt to a fast-paced production environment
  • Maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

  • Education - Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Experience – Minimum 1 year an asset – full training will be provided

Knowledge

  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (taught during training)
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety and equipment operation
  • familiarity with measurement tools and visual inspection (preferred but trainable)

Skills

  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • willingness to learn and take direction
  • computer literacy for basic functions (data entry, label printing, etc.)
