JOB SUMMARY

 The Quality Control Technician samples, tests, and inspects concrete and raw materials to ensure compliance with CPCI/CSA/ACI standards. They maintain accurate records, support mix design and project reviews, analyze data for improvements, and assist managers as needed. Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a safety-focused mindset are essential.

 YOUR DAY TO DAY 

  • Complete cleaning and maintenance of equipment as required
  • Sample, inspect, and test concrete and raw materials at the plants and on site.
  • Maintain daily records of all data
  • Perform administrative duties of value-added products
  • Follow all necessary health & safety directives in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Work with managers to conduct project specification reviews and mix design reviews
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Analyze data and provides well supported and applicable recommendations for action
  • Ensure CPCI/CSA/ACI compliance: reviews and monitors field compliance with CSA/PCI standards
  • Assist Managers and Supervisors with various tasks
  • Perform all other duties required by management
