Job Description
YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Millwright performs tasks related to the proper functioning and repair of equipment for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aspects, works in collaboration with the majority of departments and provides technical support to the production experts while following the rules of occupational health and safety.
They will be a part of launching a new facility in Tillsonburg. They offer solutions to fix the problems or failures on the process and makes themselves a pillar of the maintenance team and the lead spirit. Their skills and understanding of the production and automated equipment push them to continuously improve on production and industrial systems.
Training: As the plant comes into operation around October 2026, the candidates will need to travel to Drummondville Quebec for two weeks at a time until training is completed (approximately 1-3 trips). There is Per Diem available while away in Quebec.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU
- Acting as a mechanical expert.
- Improving the reliability of the systems in place.
- Performing all required repairs as well as preventive maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, and production equipment.
- Reading mechanical plans and drawings.
- Performing necessary repairs to buildings and ancillary systems.
- Able to weld to make repairs and fabricate.
- Completing inspections of various equipment and facilities (machinery, buildings, etc.).
- Ensuring that pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal and mechanical equipment is safe at all times.
SIMULATION TRAINING SCHEDULE WHEN IN QUEBEC.
WEEK 1
- Monday Travel to QC
- Tuesday to Friday | 12h hours shift
- Saturday off
WEEK 2
- Sunday to Thursday | 12h hours shift
- Friday off – Travel Home
WEEK 3-4
- Off
Education
Experience Required
THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification (433a)
and/or
Diploma of collegial studies in mechanics
and/or
Two diplomas of vocational studies (related to the field)
Your Knowledge and Competencies
Good knowledge of industrial equipment
Experience in a manufacturing plant
Must have a driver’s licence

Occasional variations according to the work schedule and production emergencies
Must always wear safety glasses and boots
Dusty and dirty work environment
Occasional exposure to solvent, and vapours or fumes
Must be available according to the schedule set to answer service calls for machines
