Job Description

We are looking for a DZ driver to operate a truck to transport cargo for our growing company. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all provincial driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destinations or GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Experience Required

  • Valid DZ driver’s license and clean driving record (current drivers abstract and CVOR required)
  • Able to drive 9 speed manual transmission an asset
  • Practice safe driving habits
  • Follow all provincial safety regulations and standards
  • Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
  • Load and unload vehicle
  • Collect signatures as proof of receipt of goods and proof of delivery
  • Complete daily trip log
  • Able to follow verbal directions, follow GPS
  • Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion
  • Able to work well independently
  • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
  • Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Focus on customer service
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Valid DZ driver’s license and clean driving record (current drivers abstract and CVOR required)
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine
