Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering Process Technician supports production and engineering teams by assisting with shop floor setups, troubleshooting quality and processing issues, updating documentation, and training employees. This role ensures that all methods, tools, and processes are optimized for safety, efficiency, and quality. Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager and in collaboration with senior engineers, this position plays a key part in continuous improvement and process reliability.

  • Guide and support setup personnel with technical challenges
  • Adapt to evolving production and tooling needs

Education & Experience

  • Education: Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of related manufacturing or process technician experience

Knowledge

  • General machining practices and principles
  • Guage design and application
  • Manufacturing process specifications and documentation
  • Tooling, gauging, and fixturing troubleshooting methods
  • Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • problem solving and decision making skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $54,500 - $75,000
