Job Description

The Home Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional delivery of farm products to customers. This role ensures orders are delivered on time, customer instructions are followed carefully, and delivery documentation is completed accurately.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather required delivery materials, collect baked goods and add-ons, and load the correct vehicle with the appropriate items
  • Follow Cigo navigation and follow through the necessary steps for delivery (verifying address, sanitization, following customer instructions, collecting empty boxes, etc.)
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate and complete; track and report all delivery issues, missing items, or customer concerns
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the farm positively in all customer interactions

Schedule:

  • 28-week season (May - November)
  • Tuesday-Friday schedule (up to 4 shifts per week)
  • Shifts starting between 5am and 7am and ending between 3pm and 5pm

Reporting:

This role will be independent but requires frequent check-ins with supervisors and other upper management employees. Support and guidance are readily available.

 

Location & Working Conditions:

  • On-site pick-ups at Thames River Melons, 765875 Township Road 5, Innerkip ON
  • Variety of homes across Southwestern Ontario

Education

Not Applicable

Experience Required

  • Experience driving sprinter/cargo vans a definite asset
  • Experience driving on 400-series highways
  • Full G-license required
