Job Description

OCF is seeking a relationship-driven, strategic, and community-minded Executive Director to lead the Foundation into its next phase of growth and impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director advances OCF’s mission by strengthening governance, growing charitable assets, stewarding donors, overseeing impactful grantmaking, and building partnerships that enhance quality of life across Oxford County.
This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about community, confident working with a volunteer Board, and energized by building partnerships, stewarding donors, and growing local philanthropy.

Experience Required

The successful candidate will be:

A proven leader with 7-10 years of progressive experience ideally in the nonprofit, charitable, or community development sector, able to inspire teams and guide organizational growth

Passionate about community, committed to making Oxford County better for all through meaningful engagement, partnerships, and impactful programs

An exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, skilled at engaging donors, board members, partners, and the wider community

Experienced in fundraising, donor stewardship, and planned giving

Strategically minded, with experience working effectively with a governance Board, including strategic planning, policy development, and accountability reporting.

Well-versed in philanthropy, and grantmaking, able to leverage best practices and partnerships to maximize impact

Financially capable, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and overseeing organizational finances

Compensation and Benefits

$50–$65 per hour (commensurate with experience)
