Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform required repairs
  • Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs
  • Explain procedures and findings to Service Advisors
  • Conduct road tests and complete safety inspections
  • Complete additional duties as required

Education

GED

Experience Required

What You Bring

  • Automotive Technician License (310S) or enrollment in an Apprenticeship Program
  • General Motors experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Class G Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
  • ODP License
  • Drive Clean – Light Duty Inspector Certification

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation:

  • Expected compensation range: $30.00 - 40.00/hr +
  • The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
