Job Description

As a Dispatch Specialist, you will provide support to the Transportation Department in coordination with customers, suppliers, drivers.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Schedule appointments with customers and suppliers via phone, email, or web-based formats
  • Communicate with drivers on schedules and work assignments
  • Work with multiple departments and manage a diverse and fast-paced work environment
  • Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Experience Required

YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience
Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to multi-task
 

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
Logistics/Transportation experience
Customer service experience
Experience working in both team and independent settings
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail

Wage Details

$23 - $26 per hour
