Job Description

Dale Kitchen & Bath is a family owned and operated business that has proudly been serving the Woodstock area for almost 30 years.

We are currently looking for a Cabinet Maker for our facility in Woodstock, Ontario.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble cabinets and other wooden fixtures according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required and dimensions
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish wood components
- Install cabinets and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in cabinet making techniques, including measuring, cutting, and shaping wood
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or installation
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Wage Details

$20 - $30 per hour
