Job Description

A window and door installer accurately measures, fits, and installs residential or commercial windows, doors, and related hardware using hand/power tools. Key duties include removing old units, waterproofing, insulating, installing cladding/trim, and ensuring structural integrity. The role requires physical stamina, trade experience, and customer service skills.

Experience Required

  • Installation & Removal: Remove old windows/doors and install new ones according to blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and safety codes.

  • Measurement & Precision: Measure openings, cut materials, and adjust products to ensure proper fit, functionality, and sealing.

  • Finishing Work: Apply caulking, sealant, and aluminum capping (cladding) for weatherproofing.

  • Site Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and company vehicle.

  • Customer Service: Interface with clients in a professional manner, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction. 

Must possess a valid G driver's licence and clean drivers abstract.  Some hand tools also required.  Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Compensation and Benefits

$24-$35/hour dependent on experience.
