Who are we looking for?

At ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steels industry. We are a world-class designer, manufacturer, and fabricator of high-quality steel tubing and tubular components/assemblies for automotive and non-automotive applications. As a Full-Time Production Operator, you'll be a part of our operations team - an integral part of our organization - and you'll be contributing to the overall function and success of our production operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure participation in and adherence to ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Health and Safety systems and requirements.
  • Follow all applicable health & safety regulations outlined by OHSA.
  • Operate and tend to various types of automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure a good quality product based on pre-determined standards and requirements.
  • Record accurate production data in computerized systems.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area/facility.

Education

GED

Experience Required

  • Grade 12 or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Willingness to learn new skills & positive attitude
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating work procedures
  • General mathematical skills are required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hours of Work

  • A typical work week is 40 hours; overtime as required
  • Two-week shift rotation; days - 8:00am to 4:00pm; afternoons - 4:00pm to 12:00am; midnights - 12:00am to 8:00am
