Job Description

Responsibilities:

Your role as the Enhanced Staff Facilitator would be to work collaboratively within a team at our early learning program and model inclusive practice by supporting all children in a positive manner.

Skills:

  • Organized with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong parent and child engagement skills
  • Able to plan and implement programming for children ages 0-12
  • Document and reflect using How Does Learning Happen? as a guide
  • Able to make thoughtful decisions
  • Regular lifting of up to 40lbs is required

Hours:

This position is for before and after school at Laurie Hawkins Public School. Hours are 7am-9am and 3:30pm-5:30pm, for a total of 20 hours/week.

 

Potential for full time hours on PD days, March break and throughout the summer.

Education

Secondary School Diploma

Experience Required

Qualifications:

  • ECE diploma and registration with the College of ECE's (preferred)
  • Other related education and/or experience also considered
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Current Food Handler Certificate
  • Clean criminal reference check with vulnerable persons screening
  • New graduates welcome!

Compensation and Benefits

Rate:

Starting at $20.50/hour
