Job Description

At Eddycrest, we don't hire 'interns' to file papers or fetch coffees. We hire Makers. We are a local team who custom-manufactures and ships furniture across Canada and the US. We also provide high-tech CNC machining and laser expertise to local partners who trust us with their toughest projects.

If you want a summer job where you actually build things and leave with a resume full of technical skills, you’re in the right place.

What You’ll Be Doing

We hate boring, repetitive work as much as you do. You won't be stuck at one station all summer. You will support our entire production flow, including:

  • Machining: Assisting with CNC routers and CNC lasers to create precision parts.
  • Craftsmanship: Hands-on assembly and finishing of our signature products.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring every piece that leaves our shop meets the Eddycrest Gold Standard.
  • Shop Operations: Learning how a modern manufacturing business stays lean and efficient.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Actual Skills: You’ll learn the 'how-to' behind CNC technology and manufacturing processes.
  • The 'Anti-Corporate' Culture: We work hard while we are here, but we value your life outside of work. No stuffy suits, no endless meetings.
  • Team Atmosphere: We are a small, tight-knit crew. Your ideas and your hard work actually get noticed.
  • Impact: See a product go from raw material to a finished item heading to a customer somewhere in Canada and the US.
