Volunteer Job Description

Responsibilities/Duties

Provide responsible leadership to a group of girl or youth members while facilitating engaging programming
Commitment to creating safe environments for girls, both emotionally and physically
Communicate with parents/guardians
Adhere to the Girl Guide Code of Conduct and Safe Guide
Have fun

Experience Required

Qualifications/Skills/experience

Someone who enjoys working with girls aged 5 to 17 is energetic and wants to make a difference.
Commitment to creating safe environments for girls, both emotionally and physically
Willingness to plan and facilitate girl-centered programming
Strong communication skills (e.g. with parents/guardians, girls and other Guiding leaders)
Team building skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to pass Police Reference Check (PRC)

Post Secondary Degree  

Must be an Adult Criminal 

Record Check 

Vulnerable Sector Check
