Job Description

Location: Harley, Ontario 

Onsite position 

 

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Controllers, the Financial Analyst regularly participates in the costing of Stubbe’s products, including Wetcast, Hollow core, and Agricultural products. This individual is responsible for analyzing jobs by revenue type and managing month-end procedures and reconciliations. This individual is also responsible for real estate development proforma analysis on various investment opportunities as they arise. 

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Complete month-end procedures and reconciliations for inventory, deferred revenue, accruals, overhead, etc. together with the existing team in a very efficient and timely manner
  • Reviewing financial results of individual companies monthly
  • Prepares costing of Wetcast beds, hollow-core, and Agricultural products
  • Analyzes specific job results by revenue type, (e.g., overall margins on large total precast jobs), ensuring we reach our target margins.
  • Ensures intercompany fees are billed as required.
  • Prepares iTWO reports as required for analysis purposes.
  • Assists the Controller with year-end financial reports where required.
  • Capital asset budgeting to actual
  • Proforma analysis on real estate opportunities using templates giving valuable feedback as needed.
  • Other duties are requested by management.

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

  • Audit experience preferred.

  • Extensive background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macro’s, VLOOKUP) required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong investigative and Analytical skills and high proficiency in dealing with data required.

  • Ability to investigate and problem-solve independently.

  • Experience conducting deep-dive analysis with large volumes of data.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range:$50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually
