Job Description

Located in Harley, ON.

Stubbe’s is a reputable family-owned and operated company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Stubbe’s started as a small precast company catering to the agricultural market and have since grown into a diversified company offering a wide range of concrete-related products and services.

Positions available in Harley, ON ( between Brantford and Woodstock)

Straight shifts available in our plants

Dayshift 6am-5pm Monday-Friday

Nightshift 5pm-5am Monday-Friday + $3.50hr shift premium!

Your Day to Day:

Work in an organized and safe manner according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company policies
Work according to Stubbe’s quality control standards
Operate specialized concrete fabrication equipment including, overhead crane, forklift/pay loader, and other various (power) tools
Assemble hardware according to procedures and drawing specifications
Load precast concrete components using proper stacking methods
Install cages and pull strand before tensioning
Place, vibrate, and finish concrete

Experience Required

Expectations for the Role:

Engage in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment - similar to a construction site but indoors
Repetitive tasks that involve heavy lifting, with the ability to lift and manipulate objects weighing up to 50lbs
Ability to read a tape measure (metric/imperial) and drawings an asset
Experience as a labourer in concrete an asset
Set up, adjust, and operate specialized machinery to mix, drill, grind, and cut concrete according to specific requirements
Place reinforcing rods or wire mesh in molds and pour concrete from suspended buckets into molds
Adapt to additional duties as needed to support operational requirements
Able to speak and read English is an asset
