Job Description
We are looking for dedicated, positive and energetic individuals to compliment our team here in Woodstock.
General Job Duties (will vary depending on the actual position)
· Fabricate and assemble components into larger sub-assemblies
- Welding experience a BONUS
· Utilize hand-held tools such as a drills, grinders, saws, and impact wrenches
· Operate machine equipment to fabricate aluminum components
· Install complete retractable systems onto flatbed trailers
· Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
· Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standards
· Maintain a clean and safe work area
Candidate Requirements
· Solid mechanical aptitude
· Previous experience with electrical and pneumatic hand tools
· Basic reading skills. Must be able to read and follow directions (English)
· May be required to complete an aptitude test on-site
· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly once trained
· Ability to read basic CAD drawings for assembly an asset
· Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
· Regularly perform repetitive tasks
· Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
All positions require individuals who possess a technical aptitude. Previous experience in a similar operation is a definite asset but not necessary. Currently hiring for day shift Monday through Friday.
Education
Experience Required
Relevant: 1 year (Preferred) (willing to train the right candidate)
