Job Description

We are seeking a Sandblaster on a full-time basis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate sandblasting equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking as necessary
  • Select appropriate abrasives and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results
  • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Hours of Work:

  • Training - on day shift (7am-3pm) with the possibility of moving to afternoons (3pm-11pm)  
  • Straight Shifts, no rotation. Shift premium for afternoons.

Experience Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Strong back and physically capable to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Previous Forklift experience is an asset
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Required to wear protective attire including but not limited to hooded sandblaster mask (fresh air) and gloves.
  • Exposure to extreme hot and cold weather conditions
