Verdant is a full-service landscape design, construction, and property management company based in Ingersoll, Ontario. We take pride in delivering high-quality, visually stunning outdoor environments for our residential and commercial clients.
We are currently seeking experienced, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our Lawn Maintenance Crews for the upcoming season.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Mowing lawns using push mowers, zero-turn mowers, and line trimmers
- Operating backpack blowers for property cleanup
- Performing garden maintenance including weeding, pruning, edging, and mulch installation
- Assisting with spring and fall property cleanups, including raking and debris removal
Education
Experience Required
Qualifications & Attributes:
Previous landscaping or lawn maintenance experience is required (3 years).
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
Competent in operating light and heavy landscaping equipment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
Punctual and dependable – crews must leave the shop on time daily
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates safe work practices at all times
Must have reliable transportation to our Ingersoll shop location
