Job Description
Jakeman's is a family owned maple syrup manufacturer. We're growing quickly into most major retail chains in Canada and throughout the globe. We are looking for a permanent employee for our shipping/receiving department.
Working Hours
7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities include:
-Receiving & preparing maple syrup for production.
-Receiving pallets of packaging, glass etc
-Routing delivery drivers
-preparing orders to ship, customs documentation & BOL's
-Filling orders as needed.
-Maintaining adequate stock levels
-Maintaining strict product integrity protocols under CFIA, HACCP & BRC rules.
-Inventory recording and control.
-answering and writing emails
Skill Set
-Troubleshooting and problem-solving day to day events.
-Computer literate in MS Office programs.
-Capable of working quickly in a fast passed environment.
This is a full-time position working a normal 40 hr work week.
The participant will be trained under the supervision of Devin Jakeman – Production Manager.

Summary
In the role of Shipper/Receiver, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include shipping and receiving goods, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. With core skills in warehouse distribution and experience in shipping & receiving, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of orders. Your proficiency in forklift operation and warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. Additionally, your ability to perform heavy lifting and basic math will be essential in managing the logistics of our operations effectively.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
