Located in Harley, ON.

Stubbe’s started as a small precast company servicing the agricultural market, evolving over the past 40 years to a diversified company that provides a wide range of concrete (related) products and services. 

Stubbe’s is known for its forward-thinking solutions, quality and customer service and offers significant experience and expertise in providing optimal solutions for commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural structures. 

We are located in Harley, ON between Brantford and Woodstock. This is an in-office position.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Perform material takeoffs, calculate installation/production costs and assemble final quotations
  • Be familiar with all of Stubbe’s products and promote applications and benefits
  • Identify potential areas of concern and provide alternative solutions
  • Trouble shoot customer needs via phone calls, emails and site visits
  • Work directly with customers to gather drawings and project details.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Focus on selling value and solutions, not just price.
  • Prepare proposals that clearly outline scope, schedule, and pricing.
  • Perform material takeoffs and help calculate project costs.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate estimates and smooth project hand-offs.
  • Monitor project changes and help manage financial impacts.
  • Provide valuable market and competitor insights to Stubbe’s management.
  • Contribute ideas for new products and innovation.
  • Travel occasionally as needed.
  • Take part in ongoing training and professional development

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Architectural or Civil Construction Field
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical)
  • Strong computer and computer software skills (Excel, Word, Bluebeam, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (email, phone and in person)
  • Exceptional time management skills (firm closing dates and multiple jobs closings)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Other duties as requested by management
