JOB SUMMARY

Are you detail-oriented, process-driven, and energized by helping people? Stubbe’s is looking for a Junior Administrator who loves building structure, improving systems, and bringing a positive, can-do attitude to everything they do.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on work, data accuracy, systems thinking, and engaging with people — whether it’s helping an employee with a question, refining a process, or representing Stubbe’s at a career fair.

THE DAY TO DAY 

  • Support the HR team with data entry, documentation, and reporting
  • Assist with processing payroll and maintaining data accuracy in ADP
  • Set up and refine HR processes to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Explore and implement improvements in HR systems and digital tools
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee files and records
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
  • Prepare documents such as offer letters, memos, and status changes
  • Help plan and attend career fairs or community events to promote Stubbe’s as an employer of choice
  • Assist managers with ADP reports 
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team initiatives that make HR more efficient and employee-focused
  • Provide administrative support for initiatives such as probation reviews, birthdays, and coverall programs.
  • Other administrative support as required.

Education

Post Secondary Degree

An effective JR. Admin. must have the following:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and follow-through
  • Enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and learning new systems
  • Confident using and exploring HR software and tools
  • Experience or interest in payroll and HR data management
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to balance fun, family, and focus
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently
  • Previous administrative experience is an asset
