We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on AI/ML Specialist with 2–4 years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, ideally in applied or industrial contexts. This role is a great opportunity for professionals looking to grow their expertise while contributing to AI initiatives that solve real-world manufacturing problems.

The AI/ML Specialist will support designing, optimizing, and scaling intelligent learning systems. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong collaboration with operational and technical teams.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • AI Model Support & Development: Assist in optimizing ML pipelines and model architecture, including LLM integration and agentic frameworks.
  • AI–Automation Integration: Collaborate with controls engineers to connect ML-driven insights with PLC systems and automated processes.
  • Proof of Concept Participation: Contribute to AI/ML prototypes, from data exploration to initial deployment stages.
  • Data Handling & Preprocessing: Clean, transform, and manage datasets to prepare them for modeling and analysis.
  • Documentation: Maintain model performance metrics, process documentation, and version tracking.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, operators, and data professionals to deliver impactful AI tools.
  • Skill Development: Stay current with evolving AI technologies and frameworks through self-learning and mentorship.
  • Communication: Share insights and progress with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor Degree

Experience Required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in developing or deploying AI/ML solutions, ideally in production or industrial environments.
  • Successfully contributed to two or more AI/ML projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficient in Python and familiar with environments like Google Colab or Jupyter.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Ultralytics).
  • Ability to work independently and contribute meaningfully to collaborative projects.
  • Willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing setting. 
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Exposure to computer vision tools or real-time sensor data.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Familiarity with cloud AI tools or edge deployment environments.
  • A growth mindset and motivation to progress into a senior AI role.
  • Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
