Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Coordinator or Energy Management, supports the effective and efficient delivery of energy management, in alignment with the County’s sustainability efforts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education

Post Secondary Degree

Experience Required

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Post-secondary education in the field of energy management, energy systems technology, energy engineering technology, data management or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in energy and/or data management.
  • Knowledge of statutes and regulations related to energy management and the Electricity Act would be an asset.
  • Effective communication skills including both verbal and written communication, time management, computer literacy and customer service.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel), databases, and e-mail use. Experience in energy monitoring software is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge developing baseline models to predict energy usage and costs.

 

Compensation and Benefits

WAGE RANGE:                     $34.81/hr
